I have been using sci-hub and getting too much comfortable with it that I’m quite surprised to see getting IP address banned from SAGE Journals. Here’s the script statement:
“The IP you are accessing the site with (my ip address) has been blocked because it has triggered one of our security measures. Please see the reason below:
Block reason: This IP was identified as infiltrated and is being used by sci-hub as a proxy.
To restore access, please contact onlinesupport@sagepub.com citing this message in full.”
I think this is my second time getting banned there, but the first time I was not provided any exact reasons so I was immediately unbanned when repeal against it. But I think that time I was using VPN that maybe led to the first time ban. Just wondering how should I message them and prevent this in the future?
